I have the muffler elims with after market LT1 style tips. The paint does not hold up well. Its time to get some new tips. The wife wants some chrome tips, I can't decide what to go with.
So, post some pics and what kind of tips you have. I don't really want to spend the $$ for a whole system, plus it sounds great without the mufflers. TIA!!
I have a TPIS cat-back with black painted LT1 style tips; they can be seen in the Carlisle photos on my site.
If you want shiny tips go with polished SS instead of chrome; the SS can be easily buffed to like new over time and won't rust or chip like chrome, plus IMHO they look better than chrome.
Just happened to have taken one today. Can't quite see the tips perfectly, but you get the idea.
Hell no I cant see the tips, I'm blinded by the cleanliness of the backside! :lolg:
:iagree:
Keep'em comin' guys. Lookin' Good.
Don't think the gold is my style though.
I really like the way the stock tip look. Might just go whit chrome/ss stock look tips.
Im not really worried about the red inside. but I chose the round instead of the ZR1 because I have round tail lights and it compliments and sort of matches. If I had the square lights I would have gone ZR1.
Sound Great :yesnod:
Ive got these, but ZR1 Square tips. They are sweet...The red inside is nice until you run the engine, at which point it burns off... :mad .
Im getting some red engine paint tommorow to repaint mine..NO NOT RICEY EITHER..
