Let mne guess.... C5west?

I've seen these kits upclose and personal.... even the molds and they suck azz, Any of his stuff takes alot of labor hours to get it to fit at all, and if you want it to look good, well double up the labor.

the C5 body shape does not fit the proportions of the C4 frame at all.

The C4 is too short for that look...

Top it off with a poor fit and finish, C5 conversions are a waste of time and good money.

Get an updated body kit and do a nice paint job... or buy a C5...

The ZR1 conversion requires new doors, wheels, tires, rear deck, etc.

It's not just a simple rear bumper conversion.

Done right they look nice, if you're not a body man and a good painter its over your head. For a picture http://www.collectorcartraderonline.com Its an 87 C-4, C-5 conversion. The guy asking 9k.

That's only if you use an actual ZR1 bumper. I think he may mean converting to the newer C4 body style which would make perfect sense rather than a C5 conversion.

I used the Ecklers kit on mine(the fiberglass one), it was fine. The only thing is it required some shaping of the body also, which wasn't a problem since I did a full repaint. If you do use it they give you fillers to use the old back up lens, I bought the newer style 91-96 and cut the bumper to fit. I've never regreted doing it.

Sorry, I didn't mean a full Z conversion...just the rear end. I plan to repaint the whole car if and when I do this conversion. But the more I look at those C5's the more I want one..!!!...

Yeah, the best conversion kit is called eBay. :D Sell the C4 and buy a C5 if that's what you like. By the time you buy a kit, fit & paint it, you'll be out the same money anyway.
