Took the Vette on our 3000+ mile vacation, from OKC, to Vegas, and around to Denver, then back home. Average speed was 78MPH and average MPG was 28.7! For those of you that are hesitant to take your Vette on a trip due to comfort reasons are worried about nothing! Granted, we had the car loaded for bear, so it surely softened the ride, but we completed the trip in comfort, and problem free! My faith in this car has been restored! Yee Haw!!
Glad to hear you "took the plunge" and went cruisin in your Corvette. They do make for wonderful road cars don't they? Definitely puts the FUN back into driving.
Me and the Mrs are planning a trip to Niagra falls and then over to New England and down the Atlantic seaboard in a couple weeks in the '96. I hope the old girl (the car that is) holds up as well as yours did.
