Installed the rear KYB's this weekend, thanks to all who responded it was pretty straight forward replacement, and I know people said to replace the front at the same time but it worked out better for me as it seems, I went and bought the shocks through Summit, and it turns out for being a first time buyer I get $20.00 certificate off my next purchase :) so my front shocks will only be costing me $34.00- not bad :yesnod: I will be doing the fronts this weekend along with the rear brakes and flushing the cooling system. As for the front shocks, will the wheels have to be taken off or can I replace them with the wheels on. Thanks for the input on the KYB's they are just as good as the Bilsteins in my opinion, I will know for sure when I do the fronts.
Thanks for all the help, this forum is GREAT
You got $20 cetificate for next purchase? Is there a minimun you must spend on 1st buy? I am probably going to order wire looms from Summit & sure could use that extra $20 to buy something else also. :)
I just got my set last week and There are a great shock. I would take the wheels off and do some detail work to the A-arms and such. Grease everything while you are in there.. :yesnod:
All I spent the first time was just for the rear shocks, $27.00 a piece. Gift certificate is really just a number on the bill that gives you $20.00 towards your next purchase but you have to use it before next year sometime.
Still a score for me all 4 shocks cost me, $88.00, not bad :D
