When I bought my '94, there was (and still is) a beat up '93 owner's manual in the console. I recently bought the correct-year manual at a show and I'd like to keep it in the car, but I don't want it to wind up mangled like the one that's in there.

Did the manual originally come in a protective 'organizer' the way my '96 GMC's did? My truck has a puffy embossed vinyl thing with pockets for insurance papers and traffic citations. I'm assuming the Corvette manual also must have had some sort of vinyl/leather/lizardskin cover.

If so, where would I get one? I checked Helms, Eckler's, TLD, etc but found nothing of the sort.

My 96' has a leather booklet that holds the manual. Might try E-Bay.

I bought a complete owner's manual for my '94 off of Ebay. The cost was about $40. It had the leather case, manual, all the other paper inserts, the corvette ballpoint pen, corvette pen light and even a pad of corvette sticky notes. It seemed to be fairly complete.

The pages where starting to come out of mine and I brought it to Kink kos and they put a spiral binder on mine. Now it's usable. A leather cover would be nice for it. :chevy
