California Package
Anybody out there heard of a "California Package" on a 90? (First time 'Vette owner) The person I bought my 90 from claims the car has this. It does have ground effects, a spoiler (with Corvette stamped in it), special chrome wheels, and wood grain dash. I have not been able to verify this. Not that big of a deal. Just would be nice to know.

Re: California Package (VERLYN)
Ask him if there was any avocado and crab meat that came with that package... cuz that sounds fishy! :skep:
Probably just the name of the kit he put on the car.

Welcome - Nope - No such package, at least from General Motors...
A dealer could have added it much like pinstripes, etc.
Again, welcome to Vette ownership

It sounds like a Dealer after market package. If I could find my book on all of the options that came in 90 it might be in there. Are you sure I didn't loan it to you? :D :steering:

Re: California Package (USAsOnlyWay)
The only OEM California package was designated RPO NN5, for the California Emissions at a cost of $100.
This "option" contained nothing except the extra cost to run the additional emissions paperwork required by the CARB.

Thanks for all the input. I was curious about the extra ground effects and spoiler for the package. I am thinking it may have been a dealer installed option.
