According to the picture on the 93 Owners Manual cover it shows them as Nathan's picture depicts them. On the cover of the Service Manual it shows them that way too, but the pictures are showing the car pointed in opposite directions. Owners manual nose points to the right hand side of the book and on the service manual the nose points to the left side of the book. Mine are also installed as Nathan's is.
In Corvette Magazine's 9/02 issue which contains the C4 market report, they are all on again the way Nathan's picture shows them.
Hmmm....I went online to the Corvette Museum and looked at about 30 or so 91-95 Corvette pictures. All had their wheels like the picture above. It is strange...the GM photos in the black book have them going the opposite way. Maybe, since they were just promo pictures, it didn't matter to GM. My 93 just happened to have them mounted the same way...backwards. Well, can't wait now to get the Z06 rims...then I just have to worry about the direction of the tire and not of the wheel. :smash:  :jester
 to All
I don't know what black book you have, but my black book shows them to be correct as Nathan's(and mine).
Like stated above if you have any doubt, look at the inside of the rim, it tells you left or right.
As Bogus said it's for venting of teh brakes, lets teh air out, where on teh earlier models it drew the air in. I confirmed this with Gordon Killebrew also.
