I don't know if they are rated for your 86 or not...I know they are NOT rated for my 93...they are an economical tire but I wouldn't race them on any venue...they are more for a sedan...if you just tool around town and don't push your vette at all they should be OK... good luck

I'm running Goodyear Eagle HP ultra plus on my car right now, they are new and came with the car. Anyone using these? Opinions! I believe they are directional also.
