Probably a good project if the mechanics aren't too bad. Suprising amount of corrosion on the aluminum calipers, suspension pieces, intake and alternator casing...
What kind of idiot would park a Vette outside for 5 years unstarted and undriven. I hope he doesn't get a nickel for the car, he doesn't deserve it. :mad

We just don't know the whole story. Maybe there was a reason this happened.
When I got my divorce my wife was able to hold on to my 62 and kept it outsie in the rain with the windows cracked :( and didn't start it the whole time.
After the devorce I couldn't afford to make it right and had to sell it.
That's why I wonder what the deal on this vette was it might have been a simular situation.
That's similar to an 86 that I looked at before I bought my 91. It's been sitting for 5-8 years now. It got parked after the trans blew up. A new 4+3 was installed a couple years ago, but since it was originally parked the wiring harness got chewed up, so it still sat. It needs paint, interior, weatherstripping and a windshield. The guy wouldn't come under $2500 though, so there it still sits.
Damn shame... That thing's beat.. Imagine being the original owner of that car, knowing how much you paid for it, and seeing it like this??? Wow... that's gotta be one of the worst I've seen!!!
