I recently got both my clutch master and slave cylinders replaced on my '86 Vette. I take it to the same mechanic everytime and he usually does a good job. He did what i thought was a good job this time. I drove it the rest of the day, and when night came around i turned on my headlights. They flipped up like normal, but the lights wouldn't come on. I tried turning on my brights to get some kind of light in front of me. The blue light on the dash that normally turns on no longer works. I can't take it back to the mechanic because if whatever happened was not because of him, i'll have to pay for it. Frankly, i don't have enough money to pay for it. Can someone suggest something to me?
The chances of both of the lights being blown @ the same time are slim. But the reason i haven't replaced them is because when i tried to turn on my brights, the blue light on the dash no longer turns on... is that worth mentioning?
I followed my headlight wires from where they meet @ the beginning of the hood until they went under my driver's side dash. I didn't bother trying to get into that part of the dash... I'm still not exactly sure what i'm supposed to be looking for.
