C4 Exaust Tips?

C4 Exaust Tips?
I am not overly firmiliar with the exaust system of my C4. But I keep seeing cool tips on other Vettes.
Can a guy just change the tips from the rectangular style to another?

If you have the ability to cut and weld tubing, the answer is pretty much yes. Otherwise, you may need to see a muffler shop. Most catalogs (Eckler's and MAD) cary different tips and numerous mufflers with unique designs. Check them out because there are many.

I bought a set of stainless tips for my 1994. You drill four small holes and you use four screws and washer which were included. They look a lot better than the normal tips. I know Corvettes of Houston have them all the time (sometimes on e-Bay). I bought mine at Corvettes of Dallas. They were about $60. :auto:

When I bought my car it had no tips installed at all. It has the stock exhaust setup. I bought the tips pictured below at Autozone for $5 each. I think they look pretty good. When I decide I want to fork over the $$$ to replace the exhaust I'll get better ones.

A SawZall and a Millermatic and ANY tip is possible. Otherwise you are on your own. Crawl under your Corvette and you'll find out .....
(you mean you didn't do that FIRST???!!!)
