I recently purchased a 95 and the LTPWS light has been illuminated since I bought it. I don't know what it means (owners manual didn't come with it) and when I asked a dealer he said he would have to put it on a diagnostic computer to figure it out. Can anyone help me? Can I repair this myself? Any information would be helpful.
Thank you for the help. I bought the car from a private party for $5k with only 74k miles on it. There are a few things that I need to fix to get it up to par and one of them being the warning light and 3 different tires on it. I will get to that shortly. I also needed a new keyless fob and to clean the carpet.
Anyhow I couldn't pass up the deal over some minor flaws. This is my third vette. My others were an 82, 86 and now 95. I'm a vette junkie. :auto:
If you find out one or more sensors are damaged, you can buy them used. Check the Forum. Someone had a set of three for sale for like $45 each plus shipping, I think.
Yea, I bought it for 5,000 The guy was real desperate and had to sell the car and was down to his final days. The 95 is not mint but is in very good condition. The seats are a little worn and a few small things but for the price, feel and sound, I love it. :yesnod:
