Why is everyone replacing thier stock mufflers.. and fighting this resonance and droaning problem

Because the stock exhaust is actually good sized for the power output but the mufflers and resonators are the three restictions in the whole system. Better flowing means more power. And they sound better too. :thumbs:

well- i went through 2 stock muffler systems in about 6yrs/6000miles-- probably due to lack of use--- then had a stainless steel system(cat+pipes+dynamax mufflers)---- sounds awesome-- looks great---but forget using the cell phone at 2000rpm!--- got some digital photos of system-- if i can figure a way to attach to this site :rant:
