carpet intercangeability

what are the differences in the carpet of 1986 and 1989 coupe

i think in 88 they moved the parking brake some and also covered the door stills. i would guess the rear carpet would be the same :smash:

i am mostly interested in the differences in the rear carpet. I have seen different types of speaker grills in the newer models. i was wondering if i could put newer carpet in my 86 and if i need different speaker grills :chevy

Check the link for the carpet I bought on my site and call the guy I bought it from and ask him--I think I paid $400 for new carpet front and back w/mass back!!! :thumbs:

I dont think replacement carpet comes with the holes for speakers. They have to be cut anyway.

On the door panel carpet they have to be cut.. but on the rear speakers.. I have no clue. I'm looking to buy front and back carpet for my vert sometime soon myself.
