I'm looking for coilovers and the only company who advertises them for the 88 is the DRM. it's $1600. is there any other companies that make a kit that is cheaper?

Do you mean Coil spring kit? You see a coilover is a shock that has threads on it so you can adjust the ride height by raising or lowering a locking nut that the spring rides on. A kit would include the springs and shocks and hardware and on a Vette a conversion kit to mount it after you remove your stock monoleaf spring. It cost more for a Vette cause you are totaly changing the suspension from leaf spring to coil spring. QA1 sells a kit for pro street guys for about $500+
