ok I need help we live in Texas and have a1970&1996 and our insurance company is really getting to us,we have no tickets or wrecks.we have other daily drivers. And we are both over 50 only drivers. Could someone send me names or # of a good reasonable insurance company. Thank You Itseybit

What I found on all the specialty insurers, like Leland West, Grundy, Hagerty, is they slap the old annual mileage limit on you and even may specify a certain narrowly defined type of driving you can do with the car, like to and from shows, cruise-ins etc. 5000 miles per year cap just ain't enough mileage allowance for me :steering: :auto: :chevy
In addition to the "safe driver" discount, by having both vettes with the same company as my home owners, i get another 15% off. In NC, with 2 vettes, full coverage ($250 deductable on collision, $0 deductable on comp) my annual premium is less than $700! Might be worth checkin' into.... ;)
With my house and the vette with Nationwide (almost 49 safe driver on license no tickets or accidents, been with them since 94, and 250 deduct on both comp/collision) I'm in the range of 800. annually. I see we are both living in hurricane prone states too.
Nationwide just ended their Century III policies which is where the auto's were written under and created a new company called Nationwide Auto. Boy they are sure upset about windshield replacements, they have clauses all over the new policy that they want to have your windshield repair not replaced from this point further if there is any damage to it.
