Weather is cooling here in Dallas (finally!), tems are falling to mid-80's. I typically put my clear top on in the fall thru spring (too hot in the summer), geen house effect keeps things warm in winter. Just wondering if you guys change tops with seasons as well...
Yep, I've heard several people have issues with heat when using the acrylic tops. Fortunately, I've had no problem with interior heat with my acrylic top on during the summer here in Phoenix. My a/c blows awfully cold, so I suppose that compensates
Mine came with both tops, but I've never had the painted one on. I just prefer the clear if I have to have one at all. I would rather go topless. :D
I use that dot-matrix cling film I got from Eckler's to reduce heat & UV, and it has worked quite well for the summer.....I'll just remove it for the fall/winter, then back on again late spring. I'm real happy with this setup
What's a top? Oh yeah, I have both tops. From May till maybe sometime in fall I go topless! When I put the top on it's the clear it looks cool but it looks cooler topless! I will have to try the other on for the first time! I do store the color match one in the car when the car is stored during the winter otherwise it's stored outside of the car.
