big block C4?

has anyone here ever done it? was the ZR2 the only one?

In the NCM there is a Corvette called "Conan".

It's a car they streched 6" between the door and front tire so they could fit a healthy V-10!

GM used it to test the rigidity and ultimate power handling ablity of the frame. I guess it passed... :thumbs:

How about this one?

This car was at the last Corvette carshow I was in - its actually an '84 with body upgrades - that 502 really sounded tough - Flowmaster exhaust. Can't remember what trans was in it.

He had it for sale for $26K - no takers at the end of the day. Sure was weird seeing a C4 with dual quads sticking out of the hood!

over the years I've seen atleast five C4s with a BBC setup.I'd like to do it ..would be a fun ride.

IMHO, the power to weight ratio of a BBC plays a major factor in me never wanting to do that swap. I can make JUST as much power with a well built SBC. :)

I cant see a well built stroked small block (max of # 454 CI) with an aftermarket block,,, making more HP than a stroekd BB at 5??
