Yellow vettes...
...do you have a bug problem? We have a Wednesday night cruise locally here, and whenever you walk past a yellow vette, it has little gnats buzzing around it. I notice it mostly with the newer yellows. You older yellow guys experience the same thing?

Bugs love yellow cars. I had a yellow 96 coupe, and had the same problem. It's like a huge flower to them. :yesnod:

Bugs love to have sex with my yellow vette. I can't even bring my little cousins for a ride in it they're so naughty!

Is this at all annoying, or have you just come to live with it? Did you know this before getting a yellow vette?

For me it's mainly a problem when washing the car. Lots of drowned bugs.

Re: Yellow vettes... (morphious)
I drove through a field with the corvette club last weekend to take a group picture. By the time I parked in the middle of the field my car was black, completely covered in bugs. I keep a towel in the back just so I can brush the bugs off whenever I park. Bugs love yellow, I still haven't figured out why.

yea, you can stand a nickle on edge on the cylinder head, start it up, rev it to 5-6K and the coin stays on edge. when i heard it could be done i was skeptical, so i tried it, it works.
