My 93 owner's manual does not list a replacement bulb for the switch. However, AFTER I went out and verified that it DOES light up, I dug into the service manual. The GM part # is 10159560 or the equivalent (?). As far as I can see, this is the only function that calls for this particular bulb. At least it's a starting point for you; if all else fails, Mr Greedwrench can charge you an awsome amount for one tiny bulb!
I dont know the answer to your question but I noticed your from Memphis. I'm a fellow memphian. where in memphis do you live? and what kinda vette do you have?

Re: fx3 (DUBYA T)
Interestingly, ours doesn't lite-up either, and I was just trying to figure out if it should, and had almost decided that the little light in the mirror which iluminates the console was a replacement to the bulb in the switch. so assuming our 94 LT1 is the same as the 93 reply, I now have my answer, so thanks, looks like I get to try and replace yet another bulb.
By the way, the 94 service manual lists the part number almost the same number as the 93 (ours is 12159560).
Of possible interest is that there is also a bulb number for the power seat control (ours doesn't lite up, yet!), but I couldn't find it in the schematics, but could find the selective ride control 'bulb' in the schematic.
