Several days ago there was a post about removing a bracket on the seat rail in order to be able to remove the seats from the car. I do not recall what that involved. If someone could repost that I would appreciate it. I have not been able to find it using a search.
There's a stiff wire in the front of the bottom cushion. It snaps out.
:withstupid: Once you get the seat cushion out, its only 4 bolts (I think) to get the seat out and 4 more bolts to get the track out, pretty straight-forward :D
You don't have to remove the cushions to get the seats out. Just get them all the way back and all the way forward to get the sockets on them. 13mm by the way. I've had mine out on several occasions. Easy 10 minute job. Less with air tools. :D
:iagree: with Mojo. I'm sure that was part of the design. Push on the top front edge and reach under with the other hand and release the wire. Poof seat custion comes out. Makes it real easy to clean and condition. Like the others said four bolts and out comes the rest of the seat. The rails follow. Or if your just cleaning and conditioning now you can vaccum out all the junk that somehow collects in the impossible places to get at.
