Help finding HEI connector source
They fellow at the local performance shop, who stocks just about everything
I've ever heard of for HEI says the only place to get these connectors is at the junk yard. And, don't count on finding them even there.
I'm looking for the two outside single wire clips as shown in the picture that are on the outside. I think they are white and brown in color. One is keyed. The holding clips are broken off of mine and I'm worried about them falling out on the road.

I just found these, ordered a pair. They also have the weatherproof single connectors that I've been having trouble finding.

mine broken too. They stay in place with assistance of some black tape :crazy:
I went to a junkyard and cut out of a gm car's harness two newer ones. Haven't had time to splice/solder them in.

Just thought I'd update you. They came in today! What fast delivery! I have no relation to this company. But, I can highly recommend them.
The picture shows the new HEI clips in an old distributor cap I have. They are EXACTLY what I wanted, the size, keying, and color all match perfectly and nice very high quality crimp connectors with them. I also ordered a bunch of those single-wire weatherproof connectors that are all over under the hood, for 1/2 the price of pep-boys I get both sides and new crimp connectors! I love finding a GOOD VENDOR!

I have the same problem. I just wrapped some wire ties around the cap/connectors and it holds ok. Since I dont take the dist. off too often no big deal.
