What to do about alarm?
Well yesterday my aftermarket remote got kind of broken and i either have to fork out $80 for a new one, would like to get two, or buy a gm one. I have a 93 Vette with i guess the pke, is it worth it to rip out the aftermarket alarm and get the gm remotes for the pke? How good is the factory alarm? Should i just buy a new alarm? What brands do you guys/gals run? I hate the fact that when i arm the aftermarket one the factory one usually goes off, anyway to fix this? The aftermarket alarm i have is an older avital http://onlyremotes.com/items/item329.htm thats the remote i need for it, $80

From what I've learned from being in a family of cops, people don't steal 'Vettes much. They are pretty theft-proof.
When a 'Vette stolen, it's usually towed away by pros. There's no alarm that will stop that!
I would get a few stock PKE remotes and go with that! :thumbs:
