Question about wheels
Hi, I have recently purchased a 1994 vette LT-1 coupe. The wheels that are currently on the car are the directional wheels. The front wheels are 17"x9.5" and the rear wheels are 17"x11". I am assuming they are the original wheels but not for sure. I am wanting to replace the wheels with directional polished wheels. Can anyone tell me where I might purchase these at? Thanks, Belinda

9.5" in front & 11" in back ???
Nope! Not stock sizes :D 8.5" or 9.5" up front & 9.5" in the rear would have been stock (unless it's a ZR1 which you said it isn't). As far as where to get them polished I have no clue......

Show us a pic please. Sounds like you have ZR1 wheels.

oh, so those wheels aren't waht came on the car....I guess the previous owner replaced the back wheels. You think I would have to have them dipped instead of buying polished wheels straight out?

hm...guess I'm gonna have to learn a little more bout this car. So, if those wheels didn't come on this car...didn't the previous owner have to do some modifications to get thos 17x11's on? I would love to have chrome wheels on this car but haven't a clue where to get them. I have looked in the ecklers catalog but they don't offer them in this large size. Well, maybe when I learn a little more about this I can discuss it with you guys.thanks!

Belinda, Belinda. Have you not learned anything yet. I see you are from West Virginia. Did one of those ridge-runnin guys measure those back wheels for you? Met a guy from Beckley (By God) West Virginia while in the Army in Desert Storm. Claimed he had a pet 10" snake. A couple of other guys who got a closer look at it one day swore it was only 6". :D

Belinda those responses you received are correct,you don't have stock wheels.
I recently replaced my silver ZR1 wheels with chrome ZO6 wheels,look great
and I have received quite a few compliments on them. I got them from AFS and
they also have polished ZO6's or ZR1's too. :cheers:
