Default Help in San Antonio

Anyone know of a good vette mechanic in San Antonio, TX.

I need to replace the intake manifold gasket in my '89. I'm pretty sure I can do it myself but its going to have to sit awhile till I have the time. I'm leaning toward just paying to have it done. She's been sitting in the garage for about 5 days now and its driving me nuts not driving her.

Thanks

I heard Alamo Performance is pretty good. Radpolo96 used them for a few things when he used to live in SA. Do not go to Corvette Specialties, those guys are worthless A-holes. When I first bought my 86, I made an appointment to have them look over my car and tell me what needs to be done. The appointment was made a week in advance because I had to take off work to drive from San Marcos to SA. When I got there, they decided to tell me they couldnt see me that day and to leave the car so they can get to it in a few days. All this after they told me on the phone that it would only take a few hours to inspect the car and I can bring it there and either wait or drop it off and pick it back up in a few hours. Needless to say, they have not and will never see a penny from me and I will bad mouth them every chance I get.
