Power Locks Dead
Hey guys, I got my car window busted out the other day and when they guy replaced the window he called me before he started the work and said that my power locks were dead. No click just nothing. The glass guy said he made sure that the wires were on the back of the pass switch so that should be good.
I'm planning on checking the fuse, then ripping apart the driver door lock switch to see if it's that. Does anybody have any other suggestions if those don't work???

When you activate one switch (lock or unlock) power is routed through that switch to both locks and the ground circuit is completed through the other switch.
So if there is a problem at either switch neither will function.

Mine were the same way when I got the car. While checking the tuner/control module (behind the fuse box) when My bose took a crap, I checked all relay connections located around it. (all underneath the passenger dash) Wholla, the locks started working again. The stereo was still dead, but at least I could listen to that sweet locking sound.... :rofl:

Well, I took a look at it last night. Always check the simple things first! Fuse was out. I just found it kinda weird that it happened the same time that the window got replaced.
