Russ, a big fat congratulations to you, and an excellent choice in a C4 as well! :cheers: I'm just like you, I've yearned for a vette for 28 years. I think these cars, and even the C3 more so, are a whole lot more sexier than most women :lol:

Yup, intake gaskets seem to go on the L98....no doubt you'll find a receipt for this in your pile. They might go 2-3 times over the lifespan, maybe less maybe more. Alternators seem to be eaten quite frequently, again you'll probably see a receipt or two for that. Sometimes there are problems with the digital dash cluster, but this is a fairly easy fix, like the alternator is.

Your vette sounds like a great car. Treat it like a lover and it will reward you many times over. You'll be glad to be a member of this forum, I've been here about 16 months now, and its almost like a second family; the people here are awesome, and there's so much help you won't believe it.
