Bought an 84 this summer and am getting ready to paint it this winter.
The front bumper is wavy on top near the hood and i see this on alot of c-4's.
Is there a way to fix it or is it just a c-4 thing .
thanks

You will probably have to do alot of body work but to get it to look perfect you probably need a new bumper :smash:

Re: wavy bumper (LL VETTE)
My front bumper is wavy too. It's pretty noticeable, but at least the waves are symmetrical, and some think its just part of the design. The bumpers are made of urethane, and sag as it gets older. Replacement with new urethane or fiberglass is expensive though.
I've heard of one member that was able to glue reinforcements inside the bumper to eliminate the sagging.. I want to do this eventually if I get around to removing the bumper.
Mine is REALLY wavey due to sitting in the sun...it is common like the others have said with Urethane.
Not trying to hi-jack your thread, in case anyone is interested, I have a NEW Urethane 84-90 bumper for sale for $200 plus shipping. It is primed and ready for paint. I bought it and decided to get fiberglass due to some of the custom work I am going to have done with it. I am going to put it in the for-sale section.
