I want my exhaust to sound a little throatier at idle and wicked at WOT. I want the exhaust to appear completely stock. Does someone make a catback that would solve my problem?
I have considered gutting the cats however I do not want to run into a problem with emissions.
Advice?

Re: exhaust (Xander)
I installed Muffler Eliminators and kept my cats. Sounds pretty damn mean, but it is tolerable on the open road. :auto: Sounds extremely wicked when you put your foot in it.
Xander - I went to a muffler shop and had the mufflers taken off and replaced with straight pipes on the original tips. I kept the original tips because I also wanted the "volume" but also the "stock" look. What a difference! :reddevil :D

Here comes a stupid question. So when you look under the back of your car there are no Mufflers? Are you referring to Muffler elims?

Right There is now just a straight pipe where the mufflers were, and the original tips are welded to the end of the straight pipe. The muffler shop painted a portion of the straight pipe black. They did it in a way that's it's really hard to tell from behind that there's no mufflers on it.
I kept the resonators and the cats. Taking the resonators off will make it even louder (so I was told). So basically, it's a straight pipe back to the resonators.

Ditto on the muffler elims. I have had them on all summer and they sound great. BUT, now that I'm driving around with the top and windows up in the colder weather I do notice a little more interior noise than I really like. But DAYUMN it sounds awsome when you get on it!

From what you are asking, this is the thing to do.
yes i have seen those videos many times before.... the exterior sound is nice, but in the cabin its not that great. my trans am sounded better headers and the stock catback. the car sounds halfway nice during acceleration, at cruise it just resonates.
