Default One wheel dyno?

Okay, my friend and I are in the process of getting a grant to start a business, and of course we want to start a speed shop. Anyway more to the point. We want to have a dyno in our shop. I have seen these new style one wheel dyno's on TV. You lift the car with a lift or jack stands and you take off a drive wheel. Then you attach the dyno to the wheel studs and then run it with the car in the air. Anyone ever see these? I have no idea who makes them and we really want one. Anyone know where I could get one?

Don't take this the wrong way but...

If you want a successful business, get a real dyno.

I wouldn't want my car ripping on one leg...

Like this?

I doubt it's ONE wheel; in fact they can hook up four units to dyno all-wheel drive cars!

You doubt correctly. It's one unit per driven wheel. http://www.dynapackusa.com/package.htm

Onlly attaching to one wheel would be a tad rough on a limited slipp differential :nono: :nono: :nono: :nono:

Looking at the dynapack web site, it looks and sounds like a great idea....of course I know absolutely nothing about dyno's.

Good luck in your venture.

hmm. I wonder how they did it on TV then. I saw it on that stupid supertuner TV thing on spike TV. (only watching it to wait for Horsepower TV and Trucks  ) Anyway they had some Honda crap car in this shop and they only hooked up one wheel. The only reason I would even consider going this way would be that it looks like it would be way cheaper then a Dynojet.

I probably just saw it wrong on the show. But thanks for the link. That is exactly what I'm looking for.
