I found this recommendation on the corvetteactioncenter.com storage article..
"To prevent moisture buildup and possible mold formation on interior components, you may want to consider adding desiccant (a chemical that removes moisture from the air) to various parts of your interior"
Does anyone know of any "local" shops (not mail order) where I can find desiccant? I drove all over town today, and most people looked at me funny when I asked for it..
Try Boat stores, or places that sell boating accessories, they will have a ton of them, since boat are stored and shrink wrapped for the winter season.
try any where that sells guns and gun safes... i would believe a reputable gun shop will have this as is is used to keep guns that are in storage nice and dry as well as your gun powder for reloading... and it shouyld be pretty cheap..

How long does it take before mold can start to develop? I've never had any problems storing my car ... I usually crack the windows down, but this year I even forgot to do that.
