Ok experts. I am back, and suprise, with another question. I am going through the stereo nightmare, and it has been determined that I need to replace my tuner. After contacting Dr Don's, they suggest that it gets replaced, which will be a lot cheaper than replacing the entire stereo. My question is, how do I get to it?
There's a Tech Tip about replacing the bulbs inside the tuner and it has a description of how to get at the head unit. Go up to "TOOLS", then to "TECH TIPS", and select "C4". It's down about halfway. https://www.corvetteforum.com/techti...=249&TopicID=2

Re: Tuner Removal (Goodfella)
Not sure about the location on a 92. In my coupe the tuner box is located under the glove box. Also referred to as the CDM. I have removed mine twice...two times more than I wanted to. I have to take out the seat to get my fat behind in there. Then alot of cussing and moaning. I don't want anyone else in the garage when I do that job! :mad
remove the trim on the end of the dash around the fuse panel then you can see a lot better when you look in from the end helped a lot on my 91 dont know if they are the same
