Coolant Leak Help
Thanks for all your responses. Well I am gonna try to fix this leak myself. The first night I drove it home I had coolant leaking all over. I could see coolant pouring out near the water pump area. . Tonite I warmed it up to operating temp and couldnt find any leaks. THe water pump is bone dry. There is coolant leaking because I can see tiny splatters on stuff. I have looked for an hour with my flashlight and cant find any drips! :confused:

Check around the Thermastat. Is there coolant standing on the intake manifold? run it to temp, open hood, and with your hand give it generous gas, the increased pressure by the water pump should reveal any leaks. watch your temp gauge, and keep water in the radiator.

That's weird :skep: Is your coolant low now? Was anything done recently? ie: been in the shop-checked antifreeze-cap off for any reason?
