Now that I have DRs for racing I am thinking about going back to runflats for everyday driving (My car has the spare tire delete).
I was just looking at prices at the Last Detail...
Yellow (left rear) $240
Blue (right front) $142
Orange (right rear) $230
I don't see a left front...
Can anybody explain why they are all different prices?
If you order from them let me (us) know how it went, I haven't ordered anything from them, had just saw the website a few days before you posted your thread and remembered it.
There is such a vast amount of knowledge on this forum that surely someone has found the parts/method to repair the sensors!! I've been unable to locate a source for parts or to get any information on the company that produced the sensors. Has anyone had any luck with shade tree repairs?
When I bought the car one of the things I knew was wrong with it was the wheel sensors. Turns out one of them is missing. Since the colors/part numbers are worn off I am going to have to play musical wheel sensors to figure out which three I have, and if they work, before purchasing the fourth.
With my luck it will be that left front... :nonod:
The left front is the one most often ruined in wrecks, according to a guy in Bowling Green who deals in used parts part-time, Carter's Corvettes (don't remember his first name). I've bought from him and been well pleased with his knowledge, quick shipping and honesty. His cell is 27O-746-144O.

Now, if your sensors still work get ready for the bands to start breaking! The heat and humidity inside the tire gets to them, even though they are stainless.
I still wonder...is the failure in the circuit board or the pressure sensing device that sends--or stops sending--a signal when the pressure drops below 28 pounds.
Whatever, I want mine to work and am determined to maintain the system, no matter what. :mad
