Hey man....goto www.doctordons.com. I think they can hook you up if you want to have your radio repaired (and they can do an upgrade so your CD player will play burned CD's). This is of course if you want to keep the stock HU. Otherwise I would go aftermarket.
doctor dons is the way to go. My CD player never worked since I purchased the car. I sent mine in to doctor dons several months ago, they did a great job!
The lazers burn out.
Get an upgrade. A fine Alpine made in China, or a Nakamichi made in China,
or a Pioneer made in China.
I guess it doesn't matter the name brand they're all made in China.
Except Sony its made in China.
If you upgrade and you have a Blose you'll have to replace the speakers as each speaker has its own amp. That bit of genuis is right up there with the opti-spank.

:iagree: The whole stereo was a joke when it came out, and should be the laughingstock of the world. I'm consistently amazed at why people waste a dime having these fixed just to keep things "stock" Thats ridiculous, and it simply stems from ignorance. DO YOURSELF A MAJOR FAVOR AND DITCH THE BLOSE FOREVER, PERIOD. Get a decent aftermarket system and move on with life - you'll be glad you did. It makse zero sense to keep this garbag in the vette, if I wasn't spending $$ on performance upgrades, my perfectly working BLOSE would be trashed just like the 1rst one was in the other vette the day after I bought it....with a sledgehammer.
:iagree: My CD player won't work when it gets a little cold (around 40 to 50 degrees). After the interior warms up the thing starts working. :banghead:
