I'd like to break-up my all black '96 Coupe interior a little. I have been looking at Carbon Fibre Dash covers. There are a lot out there from very low to very high priced. If anyone thinks they have found something good or bad I'd like to hear. Thanks
When I took delivery of my Vette in Mesa, AZ a few years ago one of the first mods was to pick up a custom dash pad from the local Chevy Dealer for $35.
It's like a felt type fiber, bound around and fits well. It cuts all glare, never gets hot in summer (not even in Mesa's 115deg F temps) nor cold in winter.
Anything light colored or with a lot of pattern or texture will give you reflections in your windshield. Try before you buy if you can.
I haven't seen a felt type one like 65Z01 mentioned but it sounds a lot better than the more textured ones I have had. If he's not having problem withs reflections in Mesa, you won't have them anyplace.
