Greenwood package?
Hey all,
I am new to vettes and in the process of buying a C4 I came across a vette with a greenwood package. What exactly is this? Interior/exterior mods? Performance mods?
Thanks all!

Here is the Greenwood web site. Take a look around.

Also, you may find this info helpful before you sign on the dotted line.

You might want to bear in mind that body kits usually cause a reduction in relative market value on the vette, mainly due to ground effects appeal to a much smaller market. Also, the fact that the original OE stock panels were drilled into to accomodate kit parts scare many people because of the permanent nature of this kind of "visual" mod. Therefore, you are probably in a position to offer much less for the car, if it still interests you. Beware however that you'll be on the other side of the equation when it comes to to sell; you'll most likely have alot of difficulty in selling it & will be worth a good chunk less than you might think - unless you get very very lucky of course.

I'm shopping seriously and the Greenwood kits are on my list of reasons to rule out even considering a Corvette, though I've seen some Vettes with them that look sharp.
If you like them and don't intend to sell, than the effect on value doesn't mean anything...
Now if you bring home a Greenwood Corvette you'll have to put new tires on your double wide, and maybe a new redwood deck too!!! Your money your loss.....good luck Billy :banghead:
I'd bet most of us have very strong feeling on this, one way or the other. But that's just it, it all comes down to PERSONAL feelings. I happen to like some a lot, but not others not at all. It's your Vette, do what you want..... just try not to make it look like a rice-burner
