I don't believe there is any lighting for the power seat control, my '95 or '93 doesn't have any lighting, just the light in the mirror which shines down.

just the console place yes there screws that hold it down under the console lid toward the front 2 of them and then u have one screw in the cup holder area jus one if u have a auto u have to some how pull the button up out of the shift **** it just pulls out then u got a snape ring that holds the **** on then when u pull the plate up shift it into neautral make removing the plate easier then u have 2 terminals that connect to the trunk release in the console disconnect those and then twist the light bulb out of the shift indicator iluminator remember to besure and put the shift indicator back on the pin so your indicator marker will work that should do it for the removal for the console now on the seat controler i think u might have 4 screws that hold it on remove those and turn it over u will see a lil grey circler thing on there u have to twist it out clock wise and there is your bulb keep in mind the grey thing maybe a differ color to maybe blue or black somewhere along that line and there ya are thanks dax  happy holidays

On my 92 that center piece between the seat controls will pop out.You might be able to replace bulbs thru that hole.LEDs are not a good idea. They don't put out enough light.Even the super bright ones focus the light straight ahead.

I tried replacing my cargo lights with 2 , 4 LED units. They didn't reflect enough light out the lenses. :(

the bulbs in seat controls and window controls ne thing on your door panels or console are off light emeting into a clear plastic that directs the light where to go LEDS will work in this situations b/c like u said leds light is emitted on top of the bulb so it would work ! happy holidays thanks dax !

I havent dug into exactly that part of the console yet but Ive had it apart all around it at times and on my '91 its lighted. If you need more room you might want to pull the drivers seat out. Believe it or not it only takes about 5 min to pull the whole unit out.
