Well I finished the job of lowering the fronf end with the wedges from Ecklers, the only problem now is that whem I started I measured the distance from the floor to the fender well and it was 26 7/8", now after installing the wedges it measures 26 3/4"! Now you can not tell me I spent $20.00 and a few hours of my time to only gain 1/8". What in the world happened?

Yes, we went for a 20 mile ride today and thought it would settle but it did not. Is there a company out there making droped axles for the corvettes?

Re: Back together (BLESSED427)
I havent done any front end work but when I replaced rear axle ujoints a few months back the rear end somehow raised a half inch. And yes, I counted threads on he bolts for the rear springs and put it back exactly as it was before. I had to replace one of the rear half shafts a bit after that and afterwards it was almost another half inch higher again. It didnt settle any lower after driving it so I ended up manually lowering the rear end via the bolts on the rear spring to get it back to where it originally was. Weird.
