Any news on the order in question here, yet??????????????????? Still no order, my bank did refund me the money!
Your bank?? So did you end up disputing the charges on your card?? That's good anyways, and I still can not get over the fact that not only has Zip not responded HERE, but at least with a phone call, or an email... Very strange, especially of a supporting vendor.
When was the last time you contacted them, and have you sent them a link to this thread??

Re: Problems with ordering from the ZIP Company!! (bigbozman)
Okay, let wait a minute here. I am Justin Abbott with Zip. First we return every phone call that I phone number is left. It might not be within 5 minutes maybe the next day we are pretty busy, however we make every effort to reach a customer. I have called many customers and I get an answering machine or a secretary and then a couple days later the customer calls and is upset because I did not return the call. A lack of communication can go both ways, not just on our salesman. 2nd we do not control the website in the CF Mall. I am sorry but we do not always catch when a part goes discontinued until we ourselves try and order it through GM. I would think our customer service is 2nd to none. Bigbozman, I have a hard time thinking that Lee or anyone else would tell you he is not going to take the part back. I just got finished taking parts back from a customer that was bought in 1998 because he did not need them. If the mistake was ours we cover everything, if it was not we return the part and the customer pays the shipping, that is very fair. Now let me explain the internet orders. Unless there is a problem with the order the system will not show it to a salesman, it is processed and shipped. If the customer orders the wrong part on the internet, then the wrong part is shipped to him. This is the customers responsbility to make sure he is ordering the correct part. We cannot look at every internet order because then we would not be able to answer the phones. If there is a problem then we can fix and we will fix it. We also do not tell customers to not use the Forum. We are one of the biggest supporters of this Forum and I am sure Troy will agree. The only time we suggest you call is when you are not sure what to order. With all that being said you can e-mail me your name and customer number and I will talk to Lee and find out what happened. I am sure there are two sides to this story and we will rectify the problem. You can ask Mr. Baker if he was satisfied with his responce and anyone else. We always make good. Mr. Baker, I signed your gift certificat Tuesday so you should have it soon. Also the lowering kit that I gave the sales dept for you was the whole car not the rear. I do not sell it that way since really the only thing in the rear are the bolts. As far as the price, mine are made in the USA by VBP, I do not know where the MAD are from.

Thank you (for the certificate, and the refund),yes it was in a timely mannor.
And, I'm guilty of not comparing apples to apples here, it appears. The kid that MAD quoted me was JUST the rear bolts, and if your kit was front/rear, it explains the price difference
Re: Problems with ordering from the ZIP Company!! (Jbaker)
You should have just gone down to Lowe's or Home Depot and bought the bolts. They sell a Grade 8 10" bolt that is perfect witht the nylon lock nut. That is why I do not sell the bolts, because they are available at a local hardware store. I can buy them myself cheaper at Lowe's than I can from a bolt manufacturer. They buy in such a volume we cannot compete with that.
I am glad you recieved you discount, and next time if you are having any technical problems please make sure that you talk to me. Bigbozman, I am still waiting on your reply. I would like to help you but I need your information.

I will be calling you(zip) this morning! What is a good time to call? Thx for your time, I look forward to fixing this issue. I'm not trying to bash ZIP, just trying to get things fixed and asking other CF member for help. I do like the selection and prices of the ZIP Company. As far as the being told not to use the CF mall, as you can read above I am not the only one who has been told not to use the CF mall. I also did receive 3 emails from other members who have been told the same things in the past by people at ZIP. Again thx for your time.

I can vouch for this, I was told when calling NOT to use the Forum Mall, but instead to phone in, or email, all orders. This may have been wrong, but I was told this on 2-3 different occasions.

One thing I was curious about this, and I appreciate your honesty here. Why does MAD say the kit comes with Urathane bushings?? Which bushings need replacing when you get this 'kit' if it's just a couple of bolts? Because, if there aren't any, then I will just go to Home Depot!!!
Re: Problems with ordering from the ZIP Company!! (joeveto)
I've spent a ton of money with Zip, and have had no issues. Most of the time, the stuff get to me way faster than I expect. I really like their products and customer service.
:iagree: i've used them many times and never had any problems what so ever. i've always ordered directly off their site too, and never have talked to them on the phone
Re: Problems with ordering from the ZIP Company!! (corvettemaster)
Jabaker,
Sorry I did not respond yet, we have been getting my car running all day Friday and Saturday. The bushings are the same ones that are on your car now. If you need new ones than it is a good deal, if you don't save the money for something else and just buy the bolts. Plus you don't have to pay shipping.

Dont worry about it, I'm not down the garage much these past couple of weeks anyways!!
Sounds like your solution, is the best, and I'll stop hi-jacking this thread after this.. Could you tell me what size bolts I need to buy?? If that's the case, I'll take a quick trip (Home Depot is less then a mile from me!!)
