Shifter grip
Okay...for all you six-speeders, here's a profound question for you;
Do you grab your shifter "over the top", or do you wrap your hand around the side?
If you choose to ignore this thread, I'll understand. :lol:

Re: Shifter grip (rocco16)
I'd say that kind of depends. If driving aggressively I'd say over the top, but when casually cruising, by the side..

should have made this a poll.
All depends, but usually around the side.

Bought a LPE shifter ball from fellow member and love it. So I guess I am on the top then.

Just to be a contrarian I rest my hand on the top of the gear shift when casually cruising. My Momo shift **** has a pistol grip for use when driving aggressively. It shortens the throw...

Re: Shifter grip (rocco16)
This may seem wierd, but from 1st to 2nd, side, any other gear is ontop... just seems natural to me, I don't know why... :rolleyes:

Re: Shifter grip (rocco16)
Depends on the gear :D
Going to 1st, 3rd, 5th, I push with my palm.
2nd and 6th around the side. 4th over the top.
Wierd, I know :D but it lets me shift hard without worrying about my fingers slipping.
