Default Interior question

Those carpeted speaker covers in the front foot wells...do they come out?
Snap in, screws ? Do I have to remove the whole carpeted sill pieces?
I would like to recover, but can't figure out how to remove without them taking out alot of carpet......

The whole sill cover will have to come off with it.

Remove the plastic cover at the back of the door opening. Then pull out the rubber at the front of the door opening. Remove the screws on the outside of the sill cover and slide the cover out, rear first. The speaker cover will come with it.

Hope that helps!

You can pull the sill out without removing the rubber at the front, then you will see a whole mess of speednuts holding the cover on. Just be careful when you reattach teh speaker cover, it is very easy to crack the plastic.
