I bought my 1st C4 when I was 22, my ins was ~85/month as a second car w/ full coverage and $500 deductible. Primary was liability for ~$40/month. I totaled that car (who would have thunk it?) and my ins only went up $5/month. After I turned 25 ins went down $5/month. I'm wondering what it will do when I turn 30.... $5/month???

OMG, so i just called progressive because i moved back to Plano ... they want $2600 every 6 months... that's DOUBLE what i was paying in oklahoma :( :sad: :sad: I'm going to need some help here now.......... AH!

Anyone have esurance?? They want only $1450 for 100/300/100 and 250/500 comp/collision to cover both my vette and the blazer. Really good deal!!!

I've heard from a friend that they are rated very highly from the BBB.

That's still pretty high Curtis...you're putting the Blazer as your primary vehicle with only Liability right? Hmm..Do you have an AT FAULT accident on your record? That'll make your insurance SKYROCKET. Also, don't bother with Medical Payments, because if you get in a wreck and it's not your fault, just tell the doctor "Bill this insurance company." That's how I got mine down so low. :cheers:

Yeah, it's kind of high .. $240 a month for two cars... I do have an at fault accident.. when i wrecked the '94 in August '02. That's definitely not helping. In texas, there are no medical payments, you HAVE to get Personal Injury Protection. I don't have a job right now, so health insurance is already costing me $250 a month ... i'll keep the personal injury high for now :)...

I'm good until April though... Progressive is going to cover me here in texas with the same coverages with NO increase! :cheers: :cheers:

Just checked and the vette by itself is only $1k every 6 months. Pretty good. Sucks that they are charging so much for the blazer. The blazer by itself is $750 every 6 months... so it's obvious that the wreck is costing me. At least i get a $250 discount having both cars.

1996 Corvette, full coverage with a 100 deductable 66.00 a month or 400 every 6 months with State Farm. It is listed as a weekend car. After reading most of the post in this tread I feel a little better about getting older Just had a birthday and turned 41 so I guess there are a few things good about it, but I'm Still a kid at heart :D

i'm 22. i have 4 cars on my policy with Allstate. My 1967 RS/SS Camaro 350, my 1968 Chevy C/20 LWB pick-up, my dad's 1972 K5 Blazer, and my 1996 LT1 vette. I have a perfect record no tickets or accidents since Oct of 1999. I pay a total of 1,300 every 6 months for all those cars. Pretty sweet deal. My camaro is most of it, the vette's portion is only $360.00. It's a special exhibitionists policy. all vehicles full coverage. only $50. deductable. need i say more!! :thumbs:

Well then you only have a year to go! Wrecks/tickets only stay on your record for 3 years.
