Great roads forum?
Reading the Deckers road thread gave me an idea. How about a listing of great roads like these here on the forum? This way we can share our finds, and know where to go when we travel. Maybe even learn of a hidden jewel close to home! This would have to be organised by state somehow.....

ProfMLB has a list of roads on his website, I'll see if I can find the link.

I think that is a great idea. The only ones I know, oddly enough are around Hell . . . MI that is! Very pretty area. I'm sure there are many twisties around here. Good thread, hope we get replies and Mr. Mojo's link.

I sent Mike an email, I couldn't find his page, but he put this together a few years ago.

A guy in my area posted a thread with some great drives in Texas. He posted it in the "forums, upcoming regional events and activities, southwest" section. You might look in your own region of the country.

I guess it all depends on the region. There are several websites dedicated to the great drives out here in CA. But then again, there's lots of great roads to begin with. I recall in michigan, I was doing my best just to dodge potholes
This is my first post, i.e reply to a post .I had to chime in here because I found a great website for California roads. Go to pashnit.com, then click on California motorcycle roads. Best website about roads that I have seen.

For those who use it, look at the pictures before driving the roads! Some roads are great for bikes but waaay too small for cars.
Ahhh yes, the pothole slalom. Great for autocross training. Thats why us Michigan natives drive so well
(No officer, I'm not drunk. I'm dodging potholes.) :D

Well at least with that road, you can't fall off the ledge into a forest ravine :D

By the time I realized Alpine Road was too small for cars, I couldn't find a single spot to turn around!

Hiway 1 to Monterey week days summer time limit 20-25 mph.
33 + million people all have cars and no-one stays home.

Great roads would make a great forum. my daily commute covers about 40 miles of kentucky back roads. highway 421 between newcastle and frankfort has 156 turns and bunches of elevation changes.
