Default Intake Manifold Removal

I am trying to remove the intake manifold so that I can remove the cylinder heads to replace the gaskets. The problem I am having is that some of the bolts are really stuck in the aluminum. Some of them have stripped. Any suggestions for getting these out? It is difficult to get penetrating oil in there and I am told not to use heat when dealing with a steel bolt in aluminum. Should I simply cut the ends off?

you can heat it up a touch. use a hair dryer.

if you strip them, helicoils are cool... or get a superram!!!!!!!!

What bolts are stuck ? The lower intake bolts ? If so, they are only torqued to 35 lbs. If they strip, you will need to helicoil the Heads.

Well you're just gonna have to spray away with the penetrating oil and let it sit overnight. Try that twice before messing with it and the bolts should come out ok. If not you may be f**ked! and then you gotta go heli coil. Then again the super-ram is a good option! :D
