Default 93 ECM or Ignition Module: code 42
ok I got a trouble code of 42. how can I test the ecm & ignition module to see which one to replace ? its a 93 lt1 :confused:

Try http://c4vettes.com/ if you cant find any thing there get the GM service manual at http://www.helminc.com it has a trouble shooting chart for every DTC (diagnostic trouble code).

car running now. it was the ignition control module. cost $77 with lifetime warrenty. :hurray:
