Question on Mods
Magnaflow Mufflers
Magnaflow Cat
TB Coolent bypass
O2 Sensor extension
K&N Filter & Lid
Hypertech chip
Hypertech t-stat
The 2 mods that concern me due to the cold climate are the TB Bypass and the 160 T-stat. I know that even putting a chip in a stock LT1 is pointless but I really need to get the temp cooler because 235 is just too hot for the fan turn on in my opinion. The only Hypertech chip for my year is the one that requires a 160 T-stat. I don't drive my car at all in the winter but there are some times that the car would be driven when it's still cold out. Would those 2 mods still be a problem in cold (Not freezing) Temp? Can anyone estimate the possible HP or Tourqe gains I could expect from that list of mods?
Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

It passes emissions in OH in winter (registered there) and makes enough heat for winter driving here in NY/NJ area.
You will get a big power boost from this mod; it is 3% (~10chp) for every 30 deg F drop in temp. In summer you coolant may run about 175deg F which is still 60deg F lower than before the mod.
From those exhaust, intake & coolant control mods you should realy see (feel) some very nice performance gains.
