:U Sorry, was just looking at that older hood shot. Looks so much better now! Actually, I think that's the best color combo with the stripe that I have seen, including the stock GS paint job! :cool:

A guy who used to belong to the local vette club had a silver C4 with dark grey ghost flames. It looked awesome. I think it would look great on your car. I searched and searched but couldnt find any pics. Sorry.

i have been mulling over placing a silver ghost skunk stripe on my red vette. What should I ask for in paint type, prep material etc. when I speak to a painter? I am not familar with the necessary materials for prepping fiberglass and the bumpers (urethane I believe, they are the originals) and want to make sure that the shop knows what they are talking about.

Had my car back from the paint shop for about a week before I went from seeing a fresh new paint job to merely a pallet. Considering some gray ghost flames outlined and tipped in blue to go over the silver.

Called Mid America today because the hood decals on Vinnie and Preacher's Vettes are not in my current C-4 catalog. They do have them. It's part # 612-653; called Hood Decal Kit. Price is $29.99 + S & H. Can be ordered with LT1 and LT4 instead of Bowties and word Corvette. Other colors are also available. Sure look great on the cars pictured!
