ride control light

How can I access the ride control light in the master caution panal. I need to revove the bulb.

Why do so many people do this? Does anyone actually fix the shock actuators or whatever is causing the light to shine in the first place?

I replaced all four shocks on my '96 at a cost of over $800 for the parts from a GM wholesaler. The light wasn't coming on before I replaced them, but they were all clearly shot when I removed them. Now the light comes on intermittently for no apparent reason. I had it into the Chevy dealer and they claimed to have fixed it but the light starting coming on again the next day. Been too busy to take it back...it's an expensive PITA when I would rather just have some good Bilsteins.

I actually fixed mine when the light came on. One shock had the little gear pin sheared. Put in a rebuilt shock and the light went out. Also if you just take the light out your ride control is defaulted to the touring mode.
