If you were in the military, go with USAA. My father was in the Air Force which made me eligible. I pay about $100 a month for my 93 Vette with:
$50k/$100k coverage, $250 deduct, rental, towing, driving 24,000 miles per year. Geico was around $275 per month for the same coverage.
If you Vette is 15 years old or older....you can pick up show vehicle insurance for a song. But you can not use it as a daily driver and you must own a daily driver and show proof of Insurance on it. I pay only $240 per year for my policy in Canada, but I know you can get the same in the USA. Good luck.
My insurance is under my Dad's name; he's 58 and only pays $55 a month for full coverage $500 deductible here in Utah. The company is American Family Insurance. BTW, I'm 23 and I'm sure it would be outrageous under my name. Good luck!!!!
well, im 16, andwith my dad and mom listed as the owners (eventhough its gonna be mine) its 906/ 6months. but its just forl iability, its 2g's with full coverage.....

Re: Insurance? (Hippiehead025)
Is the Vette your daily driver? If rates are sky high for you, it almost pays to go out and buy a $1000 car and call that your daily driver and take out a low cost agreed value collector policy on the Vette. OOPS! did I say that out loud?

I live in California and my 85 has car collector insurance and I have a 2nd car and I only drive my vett a few times a month and is also insured for $10,000.
My premium for 12 months is $127.00
I have full coverage on my 91 and it's only costing me $450 a year from Geico. Maybe it's because I'm 53 years old. I don't know if they are making a mistake on their part but I'm not going to question it. I only put about 2,000 miles a year on it though.
I am paying about $600 a year for full coverage with Allstate, but they also insure other car and my home...also, I am over fifty...today's my birthday...yea me!!!
I had Nationwide for awhile and they were $1000 a year for my 84,full coverage. Now I dont drive it much anymore so I got Leland-West,its collector insurance. Its $250 a year with 5000 miles a year and alot of stipulations
